Johnny Depp, two-timer: People's Sexiest Man Alive, again. How sexy is Johnny Depp? People magazine has graced the 46-year-old superstar with the 2009 title of Sexiest Man Alive.
This is the second time Depp has been crowned the "sexiest" of them all. In 2003, Depp took the world by storm with his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." The film grossed more than $650 million and garnered Depp a treasure chest of awards and nominations, including People magazine's top star honor: Sexiest Man Alive. 
Depp fans love him for more than just his looks. His famed collaborations with.Kate Coyne, senior editor at People, said on CBS' "Early Show" that Depp has achieved an almost "iconic status in terms of sexiness. Says Coyne: "Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He'll be sexy 10 years from now.He's someone who appeals to multiple generations of women.Johnny Depp wins his 2nd 'Sexiest Man Alive' title.Depp nudged aside Jackman to get the coveted endorsement from People magazine Wednesday. It's the 46-year-old actor's second time as "Sexiest Man Alive." He also won in 2003. Depp joins other double winners Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Richard Gere.
Matt Bomer, who stars in USA's "White Collar," was named "Sexiest Rising Star. "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp was named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" on Wednesday, reclaiming a title he first won in 2003. Depp, whom People described as "the king of cool with the killer cheekbones," succeeded 2008 winner Hugh Jackman. Other stars who have received the honor twice include George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
